Who we are

We Are DACO
DACO_Logo_standAlone.png

The Diasporic Alliance for Cannabis Opportunities (DACO) was established to help promote the awareness of cannabis in Black and Brown communities. Like other concerns and similarities, inequities in cannabis exist throughout the diaspora. We desire to ensure marginalized communities access and information to the opportunities in cannabis to generate positive change.

DACO sees the value and importance in reducing the barriers to entry and access to the cannabis industry.  We started by hosting the first free, annual cannabis conference with a focus on the Black and Brown community.  Since then we created a host of educational events and pop-ups, such as, #PhillyHempin (honoring National Hemp Week), career fairs, cannabis entrepreneur/investment forums, community forums, and continue to host lobby days at the state capital. DACO is a diasporic community with various interest and aims.
